A strong leader with a clinical background, Aoife is the founder of Salaso Health Solutions Ltd. She leads the strategic direction and growth of Salaso as a global leader in pioneering virtual healthcare solutions.
Salaso is a connected health technology company that enables physical therapy and rehabilitation through digital delivery. Aoife holds a BSc in Physiotherapy and an MSc in Sports Medicine from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, and has over two decades of professional physiotherapy experience across a range of clinical areas including neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and community care services.
Aoife’s professional interests center around patient empowerment and engagement with therapeutic exercise and physical activity programs.
Aoife often lectures on topics of health and leisure, most recently at the Institute of Technology in Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland, which holds the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Chair for inclusion of people with disabilities in Sport and Exercise. Aoife has been instrumental with establishing the successful Adapted Physical Activity Aquatic Rehabilitation Programme at the Institute.
